This year, Monti Inc. is going beyond Manufacturing Day (held on October 4th) and hosting a series of exciting events throughout the month for students, educators, and community members. Here’s a look at some of our Manufacturing Month highlights:
- Mount Healthy High School: We welcomed 20-30 high school students led by chaperone Morgan Gerber for a tour of our advanced manufacturing facilities and an engaging discussion about career opportunities at Monti Inc.
- Woodward Technical High School : We will host 30-50 advanced manufacturing students led by chaperone Willard Reed for an in-depth look at our operations and a chance to explore their potential in manufacturing careers.
- North College Hill High School: We will connect with 20-30 high school students led by chaperone Trish Meridy
([email address removed])to showcase the real-world applications of manufacturing and the exciting possibilities it holds. - Reading Middle School Visit: Monti Inc. will host 30 8th-grade students from Reading Middle School for a tour of our facilities and a discussion about manufacturing careers.
Empowering the Workforce of Tomorrow
On October 25th, we will host a special event for 10-20 adult workforce specialists from the Cincy Chamber Workforce Innovation Center. This event will facilitate valuable dialogue exploring how Monti Inc. can collaborate with workforce development initiatives to bridge the skills gap in manufacturing.
We will end the month with the 2024 South Carolina Conference and Expo on November 7th– 8th, where we are excited to connect with over 150 companies and 1400+ professionals in the manufacturing industry, learn about the newest innovations and technologies shaping the future of manufacturing, and attend[SG1] informative sessions from industry experts and gain actionable insights.
