The heart of Monti Inc. is the production of electrical insulation parts for switchgear. To manage, isolate, and safeguard the delivery of electricity to the end equipment, switchgear is made up of a mix of electrical switches and fuses or circuit breakers. The equipment is commonly divided into three groups based on operational voltage: low voltage (less than 1 kV AC), medium voltage (between 1 and 75 kV AC), and high voltage (between 75 and 230 kV AC).
Circuit breakers, disconnects, power distribution hubs, and meter housings make up low voltage switchgear that is housed in buildings. Pad mount cabinets, circuit breakers, and massive motor control centers are all examples of medium voltage switchgear. The majority of high voltage switchgear is operated at outdoor substations and primarily insulates using air.
Phase barriers, pultruded GPO-3 angle and channel, bus duct windows, and bus supports are all products of Monti Inc.
