Having grown from a small, developing business to a Tier 1 supplier for the electrical industry, Monti Inc. has learned a thing or two about sustainability over the course of nearly 50 years.
Today the company is a supplier to such original equipment manufacturers Siemens, Schneider Electric™, and Eaton and operates plants in Ohio, South Carolina, and Michigan. From one-off prototype and repair jobs to high-volume production, Monti makes electrical parts that range in size from those that fit in a person’s palm to 5 by 10 ft., using materials including copper and aluminum; stainless, galvanized, and hot- and cold-rolled steels; and insulation and plastics.

Monti Inc., an industrial manufacturer in Greenwood County, will expand its operations with a more than $500,000 investment, the company announced today through a news release from Gov. Nikki Haley’s office and the state Department of Commerce.
On 3/22 the state of Ohio issued a Stay at Home Order effective 11:59 p.m. on March 23, 2020, until 11:59 p.m. on April 6, 2020. This order identifies businesses and operations deemed essential and therefore exempt. Monti Inc has been designated an essential business.
As a result, we will continue to conduct business while maintaining our top priority of keeping our employees and customers safe. We plan to split our workforce up into teams with a split schedule to limit physical interaction and plan to work a standard 8-hour day without overtime. We will be following both our local government and the CDC’s recommendations and guidelines closely. We continue to ramp up our daily sanitation schedule of our plant in order to keep our employees healthy.
We plan to prioritize jobs by importance and ask that our customers relay their jobs that can be pushed out to a later delivery date. Please stay in touch with your sales engineer to advise us of your plans to close or remain operational. We will continue to update our website as our status changes so you can be sure to plan accordingly.
